Here’s the doll that was Vivien’s (my aunt’s) …the two of them on a long-ago afternoon in a Chicago backyard. Vivien gave the doll to my Aunt Lu (who was Vivien’s little sister), and Lu gave it to me (I was 50 at the time!)
The doll has lived at our house for a decade but recently I thought Emma Decker, my niece, should have the doll. We traveled north this weekend and now the doll has a new home, possibly not the last stop on her journey.
