Went over to the Sandy Hut Saturday morning to watch the bikes gather and take off for a figure eight ride to Astoria and back, the season-opening ride sponsored by the Sang Froid Riding Club (SFRC). Inside the bar the Portland Cello Project were playing inspirational tunes for the launching of the season opener. I was guessing the Sandy Hut was a new venue for them. The bikes were varied, the people were varied, but they all looked serious and cool (well most of them did).
The bikes come in colors, have names, are “customized” in various ways…
and they have outfits….
She has a heated passenger seat and can listen to books on tape on the way to Astoria.
Some people believe the only “real” color for a motorcycle is black!
