One night in Cortona we followed the crowd and the noise to the main piazza to find a “spectacle” in full swing. The crowd was dense (maybe 7 or 8 deep) and I couldn’t see very much. The man next to me just held his camera up as high as he could, so I did too and was surprised to see the event I never saw–once I got home!
