On The Way 
When I go for my daily walks, I can’t bear to go home and leave all the gorgeous trees….so I just keep going. Today, I visited Riverfront Park and the new Tom McCall statue– a remarkable likeness. I was delighted to note that the Oregon Environmental Council is mentioned on one of the bronze rocks; I was on the board in the 70’s and the governor always came to our annual meetings. Also on the OEC board from the Willamette family: Irene Mylan, Carol Long and Barbara Bowles.
