Tuesdays are the day the vegetable box arrives from Denison Farms. We’ve taken to getting the box and then planning our meals accordingly. It’s always varied and delicious, but today it was also just beautiful. I knew when I put it in the bag to bring it home that I’d just have to arrange it and look at it before dinner. Think we’ll have some corn, tomatoes, cabbage and white raspberries tonight. But here it is before I start cooking!!
The grapes are Canadice, a seedless table grape developed in upstate NY in the 1970’s. The beans are Spanish white shell beans. Tomatoes…cilantro…jalapenos–sounds like salsa night is coming!

the white raspberries were just delicious, as was the corn–nice small ears. We had the raspberries instead of the 100 calorie treat. Wish you’d been here!!
