Finally even we got tired of the dirt-with-a-few-weeds front lawn we’ve had for several years. The suggestion from a friend of a good guy to do the job pushed us over the edge so this week–sprinkler system and new lawn go in.
Yesterday was removing the old lawn (hooray!!) and digging the trenches. Today is putting in the sprinkler system pipes. Thursday is the timer and plumbing inspection, Friday the sod goes on. Lately I’ve been writing mostly about art, so this is a little diversion into the reality of life on Court Street. Stay tuned. Think I’ll try and find a drawing of grass I have somewhere for my drawing blog takingalineforawalk. Synchronicity in all things.
