Okay friends–the last two years I’ve posted about shopping local, following a local elf in Salem stores. This year, more than other years, our wonderful local merchants need your “custom.” I’m doing creative re-gifting this year so I’m not even shopping, but just want to remind you of The Arbor, Ma Valise, Ranch Records, Mary Lou Zeek Gallery, Greenbaum’s Quilted Forest, The Art Department, Cooke’s Stationery, Fitt’s, and the countless other local merchants who make the fabric of our commercial downtown environment. Before the big box, before the internet, THINK and SHOP LOCAL. (OR, check your basement!!)
