Anna’s tree in full bloom today, after three warm days. Spring is here. Anna’s house backs on the creek right at the bridge and some very lazy person forgot their shopping cart today. But no matter, the tree must be gorgeous from inside Anna’s house.

I’ve been a sort of blog sloth of late–been in the studio making paintings. Still three months before my show at 12×16 and I’m working hard. Hope I’ll have new work by then that supplants some of these, but thought you might like a peek:

Nearly Gone
It was a beautiful day in the Capital City today–bright sun that raises your spirits. On the way to the studio I stopped by the Riverfront to check on the warehouse. It’s nearly gone now:
It snowed this morning…
but when I got home from the gym today the very-same camellia that fell over on the car in the December storms was blooming. I actually don’t think you can kill a camellia–even with a chain saw. Spring is here!!
Pearl Bakery
Saturday before heading home we made a stop at the Pearl Bakery for a tuna sandwich and some supplies, before our return to the bakery-less Capital City:
