Last week I saw this starting to happen and didn’t have time to take a picture. When I went back today the deed was done–or almost done. A nice old brick church with leaded glass windows–some of them casements. The pattern was a diamond pattern. The whole street side of the church had these windows. But now: EEK!!! The new windows have the snap-in plastic grids.
When I see this truck near an old building I grab my camera and run:
I walked around the whole building and there is only one of the original windows left, under layers of winvyl storms:




A planned sneak attack. We see this happening constantly. CALL THE PRESERVATION POLICE!! And publish the @$!%&* company’s name that is the real conspirator.
It’s the notion of property management types under 50 that all windows must be totally tight. The company just goes with the flow. Arghhhhh!!
