If you can’t remember your social security number you could follow this man’s example as captured in a Dorothea Lange photo of 1939. He had his SS# tattooed on his arm. Well…it could work???

On The Way 
When we were doing therapy dog work for NIH in DC, we participated in an ID program that tattoo’d Bruce’s social on our dogs. This was back in the day before microchip implants and concerns about identity theft! We were however quite concerned about our dogs! It seems downright crazy now. It did come in handy every so often when I needed to fill out a form, yo, Angus, roll over!
