George Johanson has been painting Roger’s portrait. The painting will be unveiled on May 7th here in Salem at the “Hullabaloo” celebrating Roger’s 40 years of teaching. Yesterday we went up to Portland to check progress on the painting. Since I’m sworn to secrecy, I had to, well—OBSCURE– some aspects of the painting. Like all of them. But it’s a terrific painting and a terrific likeness. Come down May 7th for the unveiling!!! More info here as the time draws near.
