The end of real summer…Labor Day coming up…and today was the day we’ll dream of come icey January…
But it started cloudy and R was thinking “hmmm…maybe I’ll paint the garage door”…
so he did…one more coat tomorrow
meanwhile I was in the studio with my trusty featherweight (it was my Mom’s)…
finishing a baby quilt and getting started on the last quilt for a while…the black quilt…
Come 3:30 though work must cease and we grab a coffee and hit the beach, greeted by the beach face…
R takes off…
and I sit sewing with my 16 oz. nonfat iced latte (my dumb ankle precluding my joining him…)
a brilliant day of days…
A beautiful day, indeed. Love that little pink 9-patch. Just enough free-form to it. The green door looks good too! Need more blacks?
You made it delightful and joyful in spite of your ankle! Puttering that’s memorable…nice.
