Last night was the13th annual “Clay Ball” wherein artists and “patrons” come together to support the arts in our community. The theme this year was the 60’s…Mad Men-inspired…and people took it seriously and came dressed for the moment…
there was a photo booth with “props”
lovely blondes everywhere…
friends discussing auction items (…”should we go to Mexico together??”…they decided yes…)
oh if only Clifford Gleason had been there…
…a fun evening for sure, and we hope a profitable one for the Salem Art Association, which provides such beauty and texture to our community. (I was just relieved that my donated painting sold…and goes to a nice home…)
I would’ve loved to attend an event with that theme – how cool! Did you dress up?
OH Bonnie, what great fun. I wish I had been there and was able to purchase your fabulous painting.
Love your painting, really vibrant!
