You may remember we recently lost our old dogwood tree…but my birthday present was the planting of a new tree!!! Here’s the old tree…

OF COURSE there was a problem…the boxwood hedge… which Felix said would have to go…we said nope. Take the tree back. Felix said if he couldn’t get this tree in place it would be the first time EVER, and could I point him to Home Depot. 45 minutes later he arrived back with a VERY clever solution:
YAY!!! Cornus controversa back in the garden…and a much prettier tree in a nicer location. Good birthday present for sure…
