It’s been a lonnnggg wet spring here in the northwest…
but we’ve just been given a gem of a gift…a brilliant sunny warm weekend at the beach…usually a July sort of thing. No wind…
lots of bike rides and bay views…
LOTS of beach time with Sidney (recreating a crab)
looking at where the public dock used to be
and then finding the old pictures of what the dock looked like when it was there…
and when it started to fall down
and drawing a crab…
making a map of our little city and environs
everybody is taking a nap…
drawing, of course…
finally heading home…
the long way…
More rain to come I suspect, but grateful for the summer preview to get us in the mood…
Absolutely lovely photo essay comprised of compositional wisdom and personal visual notations.
I feel as if I was at the beach with you. Thank you again Bonnie.
