Mom came for lunch today and to see the blogs and flickr. She can’t quite get to the blogs yet, though is intrigued with the notion of a blog. She really thinks all of her children are so smart. We enjoyed the new formatting of Bru’s photos and the video of Sam, the floor pix, How’s latest endeavors, Zach on the wind tower. Oh my. It was fun.
On The Way 
So, is she not getting on-line at the Manor? Wondering if there is something I can do to help her make that process as straightforward as possible because I know that being on-line (and in communication) has been such an enjoyable thing for her.
Your blog is looking great, Bon. I enjoyed seeing your favorite links over there under blogroll. FYI the link to the IFF is not functional and it looks to me like there is an extra http at the front of the URL string. When you paste URLs into that little box, you’ll see that there is always an http in there already as a default setting. Whenever I paste (ctrl c) a link in there, I always delete that first http. Once that’s gone, the link to the IFF will work fine. Doug’s techie tip for the day!
Nice photo, Bon. Why not just put our blogs on her list of favorites? Then all she has to do is one click. Just a thought – you guys have probably already tried this.
I think it has to do with the dial-up. Since the building is wired with cable I don’t know whey they don’t let them hitch up free, but she seems to think she’d have to pay extra for cable. It just takes too long for her to get the pictures. Maybe you could have a tutorial with her Doug.
