Just off on one of those mid-winter surgical cruises. First they showed me to my room
and gave me some interesting footwear.

Why can I visualize you going in for surgery completely relaxed and at ease except for one hand clutching your camera close to your heart?! Next art project: personalized crutches?! Painted with quilted arm pads?!
I’m glad you’re feeling well enough to update us. You are so funny, taking photos en route to surgery. I hope you have a speedy, pain-free recovery and please let me know if you need anything! Anything at all.
Actually, they couldn’t quite believe I wanted to take photos but were pretty accommodating. One guy even said “Want me to get a shot of you on the gurney?” I declined that one.
At least you have your limits. 🙂 I know someone who requested a copy of the video of him having knee surgery so he could see what he looked like when under. I’d just rather not know…
