Just about a year ago I went out to Cynthia Herron’s studio with biologist/writer Sharon Rose. Cynthia was beginning a year of painting drawn from Sharon Rose’s book about watching the biological cycles at Minto island (Salem’s truly wonderful treasure of a Park). The work is complete and the show opens November 3 at the Elsinore Framing & Art Gallery
So we went out the other day to preview the show and take a look…we were met by Cheeto and Lucy:
the drawings are framed:
the paintings are ready (I promised not to “scoop” the show by putting too many of them on here)
…we had a toast
and they talked about the opening when Sharon will read selections from her book…Saturday November 6 at 2:00 p.m.
A quick walk-about the farm where I found a “found drawing” on the side of one of Jay’s machines
Get down to see the show–November 3 – 26>
Looks like it’s going to be a great show! Love the paintings.
