Yesterday Sharon and I met at the museum to go with collections curator Jonathan Bucci to the Knight Library in Eugene to pick up the drawings for the show of Lord & Schryver work that Sharon and I are curating (opening at the Hallie Ford Museum on June 22, 2011…more to come)…
The helpful librarians had everything ready for us…
and Jonathan was higly organized with all the packing materials we needed on hand…
so we began the procedure of packing things in the numerical order of how they will be displayed…
…and after securing everything in the van we had some lunch and a not too pretty but DELICIOUS coffee
…and speaking of oaks..these had just fully leafed out but were still that nice light green…
Next week the work will be photographed by the excellent Frank Miller and the museum will begin the task of matting and framing all the work, in preparation for the show opening in June.
