Over the last couple of years I’ve had a lot of fun with the Sketchbook Project…sending them a variety of small fabric pieces as well as a couple of little drawing books. They are in Brooklyn and collect small books from artists all over the world. This spring they went on the road with part of their collection and actually came to Portland, where I went to visit my book…I’ve written about them lots…
This fall and winter I’ve been working on a little narrative called “My Left Foot” and the book has to be postmarked tomorrow. Today I gave it a snazzy (is this still a word I wonder?) cover of duct tape (pine burr adaptation)…
and here’s one drawing from the book…detailing my post-surgical drug consumption…
I posted the entire book on my drawing blog before I slipped it into the envelope…in case you want to take a look…:) (My brother How and I started this blog a few years ago to share our drawings.)
Nice to see the petals in their company.
XXOO G/R/R (not grrrr I mean)
I a big fan of your drawing and how well you use it to describe your life and activities!!!
