Just ‘sold’ my 1988 Volvo SW in trade for work on this ever-needy property. I long threatened to restore it like a classic car. It was so beautiful, had an incredible steering ratio and could haul a large number of fairly large paintings. Sigh. Our ‘new’ Volvo is a ’98, a pretty face but really doesn’t quite live up to her predecessor. Glad your beauty was soon rescued.
